The Boerne Independent School District recently conducted its 2022 Spanish Spelling Bee for elementary and middle school students. Kendall Elementary fifth-grader Bailey Martin, pictured above left with her parents, Kasey and John Martin, took first place in the elementary division. Estrella Castro, a sixth-grader at Boerne Middle School North, pictured below left with her father, Jose Castro, earned top honors in the middle school division. Nest Nature School to welcome guests
This past August, the Nest Nature School welcomed three classrooms full of excited 3- to 5-year-olds when the school opened its new campus at Herff Farm. Knockout cheerleaders sweep competition at Cheer America event
Knockout (KO) Cheer is an All-Star Cheerleading gym in Boerne and recently won six First Place Championships and two overall High Point Grand Champion awards at the Cheer America Competition that took place in San Antonio on Jan. 23.
