Tapatio Men’s Golf Association hosts Tapatio Cup
The Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association recently held its Tapatio Cup event over two days and 54 players took part. The scoring was nine holes Schamble and nine holes Best Ball on both days. The Green team and the Gold team squared off and the Gold team won, 45-37.

I-10 road work to alter traffic
As part of the ongoing Interstate 10 frontage road work, the Texas Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that the contractor is progressing into the last stage of construction for the new Highway 87 bridge. That, in turn, necessitates transitioning the I-10 mainlane traffic from the current location to the segment that is currently a work area closed to traffic.

Increased safety and security
Boerne ISD, along with the Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch police departments and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, recently agreed to assign each BISD campus with a designated School Resource Officer beginning in the 2022-23 academic year. The collaboration is in an effort to strengthen safety and security measures at all Boerne ISD facilities. The announcement was made during the June board of trustees meeting and recognition was given to the three local law enforcement agencies at that time.
