During its Saturday, March 19, meeting, the Boerne chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution honored Champion High School senior Emma Willshire,igh School seniorHi who won the organization’s statewide essay contest. Her winning essay was entitled “How the American Revolution Began in Europe.” Sponsored by the Boerne chapter, Willshire was awarded a combined total of $3,000 in scholarship funds from both the state and the local chapter.
