Rotarians rebuild playground
The Boerne Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Interact Club of the Winston School throw an annual party for more than 90 children in the Shady Rest Mobile Home Park in Boerne. Rotary President Steve Artale said, “We noticed the playground area was in poor condition, and we have been working to rectify that. We have installed swings, soccer goals and a ga-ga pit and will be putting down new ground cover in the spring.” Pictured are, from left, Rotarians Steve Artale, Bobby Felton, Michael Glick, Charles Wetherbee, Dan Powell and Rich Sena.
