LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. Boerne Police Department 

April 30 

1:16 p.m., 31000 block of Interstate 10 -- A caller reported he received a threatening email. 

3:59 p.m., 100 block of E. Flowing River -- A caller reported her mother was harassing her. 

5:28 p.m., 500 block of S. Plant Avenue -- A caller reported a parked vehicle was blocking her driveway. The vehicle was moved. 

9:35 p.m., 35000 block of W. I-10 -- A staff member reported an intoxicated male was going floor-to-floor, looking for his room. Earlier that day, the man was seen sleeping around the building. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained. 

May 1 

7:46 a.m., 100 block of Lauren Lane -- A caller reported a small dog had escaped. 

8:48 a.m., 200 block of English Oaks -- A caller reported mailboxes in the neighborhood were all open this morning. The caller was concerned about possible theft of mail. 

1:21 p.m., 100 block of Cedar Street -- A caller reported a vehicle dropped off two ice chests and a garbage bag. The caller was not expecting anything and was not familiar with the vehicle. 

3:59 p.m., 100 block of Bentwood Drive -- A property manager reported someone at the location was dumping numerous big items and trash bags into their dumpster.  

5:55 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road -- A caller reported a kitten in the drive-thru lane that kept trying to get into people’s vehicles. Animal Control got the kitten from the location. 

May 2 

9:14 a.m., 100 block of Crosspoint -- A caller reported a male by the dumpster with a rifle. The male was seen at the location previously. 

11:48 a.m., 100 block of City Park Road -- A caller reported her vehicle was broken into. 

1:53 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road -- A caller reported a laptop was stolen from the leasing office. 

3:00 p.m., 200 block of Ludwig Drive -- A caller reported hearing five gunshots in the area. 

4:40 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street -- A caller reported a male ran out of the store with a PlayStation and video games.  

May 3 

12:14 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road -- A caller reported someone backed into her vehicle and then drove off. The caller was able to get a picture of the other vehicle’s license plate. 

4:17 p.m., at Bandera Road/I-10 -- A caller reported a male panhandling in the area. Another caller reported the male urinated on the traffic control box. 

7:37 p.m., 100 block of Menger Springs -- A caller reported an intoxicated man who was getting violent. He was detained and taken into custody. 

8:52 p.m., at School Street/Cibolo – A caller reported a shirtless, young male in the area who was screaming “I don’t know where I am.” 

May 4 

1:07 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park -- A caller reported a child was left in a vehicle with the window down. 

4:07 p.m., 700 block of N. School Street -- A caller reported her son’s grave marker was desecrated. 

7:01 p.m., at Upper Balcones/Dodge -- A caller reported a vehicle almost ran head-on into another vehicle head. 

May 5 

8:35 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road -- A caller reported someone struck his vehicle in the parking lot the previous week and wanted the matter documented. 

12:49 p.m., at Herff Road/Esser Road -- A caller reported an abandoned gasoline can on the side of the road. 

1:56 p.m., on Main Street/Herff Road -- Two vehicles were involved in a collision. Both vehicles were able to get out of traffic and into a parking lot. 

2:45 p.m., at River Road/Main Street -- A caller reported having a disagreement with another driver. When confronted, the second driver pulled out a firearm. 

5:12 p.m., 100 block of Oak Grove -- A caller reported a hole in the window of her home that she suspected was caused by a BB gun. 

May 6 

3:13 p.m., 400 block of Bandera Road -- A caller reported a minor two-vehicle collision. Both vehicles were able to pull over to the side of the road. 

3:49 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road -- A caller reported a hit-and-run incident. 

3:51 p.m., 100 block of Vail Drive -- A caller reported a vehicle was parked in a ‘no parking’ area for a day. The owner was located and the vehicle was moved. 

6:34 p.m., 800 block of N. Main Street -- A caller reported a road rage incident involving juveniles tailgating her and throwing something at her vehicle. 

 

Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department 

April 28 

— Officers assisted the public on Ralph Fair Road. 

April 29 

— An instance of fraud was reported on Cibolo Oak.  

— Fair Oaks PD assisted EMS on Wild Oak Hill, Heritage Trail and Firebird Lane.  

April 30 

— Officers assisted EMS on Rocking Horse Lane. 

— A disturbance was reported on Northview Pass. 

— An animal call was made on Fair Oaks Parkway. 

— A welfare check was conducted on Sweetwind Circle.  

May 1 

— Two loose dogs were reported to be roaming Fair Oaks Parkway.  

— A lost cat was located at Pimlico Lane.  

— Two different traffic hazards were reported: Ralph Fair Road at Dietz Elkhorn, and Ralph Fair Road at Fair Oaks Parkway.  

— A noise disturbance was reported at Pimlico Lane. 

May 2 

— Law enforcement assisted with a loose dog on Fair Oaks Parkway. 

— An instance of fraud was reported on Dietz Elkhorn Road.  

— An injured deer was reported on Jodphur Drive.  

— Two loose dogs were reported to be running around the Ralph Fair Road/I-10 area.  

 — A two-vehicle collision was reported on Ammann Road.  

May 3 

— An animal call was made to Seabiscuit Drive.  

— A mental health crisis was reported on Turf Paradise Lane.  

— A noise disturbance was reported on Cibolo Court.  

— A motorist was reported to be driving intoxicated on Fair Oaks Parkway. 

May 4 

— Officers assisted EMS on Fair Oaks Parkway and Wild Oak Hill.  

— Officers assisted with an assault on Valley Run.  

 

Kendall County Sheriff’s Office 

April 30 

3:12 a.m., 1500 block of River Road -- A business owner reported a male was sleeping in front of his business. 

7:57 a.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 -- A caller reported their vehicle was rear-ended. The caller said he didn’t have any injuries. A tow truck was called for the other vehicle because it was stuck in the road. 

11:18 a.m., 100 block of E. Mountain Top Drive -- A caller reported receiving a threatening phone call from an old acquaintance. The caller said the acquaintance said the caller owed them money and, if unpaid, was going to add the caller to their “kill list.” 

7:20 p.m., 100 block of River Ranch Road -- A caller reported a deer that attacked her son the prior day was still on the property. 

May 1 

9:52 a.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 -- A caller reported an 18-wheeler blocking two lanes of traffic. A heavy-duty wrecker was called to the location. One of the individuals was taken into custody. 

12:07 a.m., 100 block of Spring Creek Road -- A caller reported an unknown SUV parked at the end of their driveway. 

4:25 p.m., 200 block of FM 289 -- A caller reported a ram running amuck on the road. 

4:29 p.m., 800 block of FM 289 -- A caller reported they did repair work for an individual who had now stopped paying for the service. 

May 2 

12:14 a.m., mile marker 537 of E. I-10 -- Two people, one with a firearm, were detained during a traffic stop. 

7:25 a.m., 1200 block of FM 1376 -- A loose boxer dog was running around, looking for a match. 

2:42 p.m., 800 block of N. Highway 87 -- A caller reported a vehicle slid off the road into a tree. 

The vehicle was undrivable, but all occupants reported they did not require medical service. 

4:49 p.m., 800 block of FM 289 -- A caller reported someone at the location was stealing from the business. 

May 3 

8:32 a.m., 100 block of Cool Rock -- A caller requested assistance with a baby possum that was caught in a fishing line, with a hook stuck in him. 

8:56 a.m., 1100 block of FM 1376 -- Three donkeys were on the hunt for an evening meal. 

9:20 a.m., on Kreutzberg Road -- A dozen cows were rapidly moo-ving onto a neighbor’s property. 

3:31 p.m., 500 block of FM 473 -- A caller reported three or four sheep in the roadway. 

5:13 p.m., on FM 474/Smiser Smith Road -- A caller reported a less-than-pleasant smell coming from a parked vehicle. 

11:22 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road -- A caller reported an intoxicated male stole a beer from the location. 

May 4 

1:22 a.m., 100 block of Southfield -- A caller reported a domestic violence incident at their residence. Law enforcement responded to the location; one of the parties was detained. 

10:10 a.m., 100 block of Skylight Trail -- A caller reported two stray dogs on her property that killed some of her chickens. 

1:34 p.m., 43000 block of E. I-10 -- A caller reported a kitten stranded in the median on the interstate. 

1:55 p.m., 100 block of Bandalero -- A caller recorded three or four boys looking through windows in the neighborhood and checking for open doors. 

May 5 

12:46 a.m., 20 block of Highway 87 -- A caller reported a collision between a deer and a vehicle. The vehicle was undrivable and a wrecker was called. 

10:37 a.m., 100 block of Western Justice – A caller reported more than $5000 in construction material was stolen over the weekend. 

5:40 p.m., 800 block of FM 289 -- A caller reported someone at the location stole diesel fuel. 

May 6 

2:28 a.m., mile marker 543 of W. I-10 -- A caller reported her husband was driving on the interstate intoxicated. 

1:55 p.m., 100 block of Sansom Road -- A caller requested a deputy come to the location to document property damage. 

1:58 p.m., 600 block of W. Highway 46 -- A caller reported a vehicle was on fire, and a male was trying to extinguish the fire. Boerne F.D. was called to the location. 

5:51 p.m., 100 block of La Cima – A caller reported her license plate was stolen during the night.
