A man is behind bars this weekend after being accused of sexually abusing a juvenile girl over several years.
On Dec. 29, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office received a report about an adult male who sexually assaulted an underage female.
The report alleged the incidents occurred numerous times over a span of years.
Kendall County investigators obtained a warrant and arrested Rufino Lopez, 44, of Boerne.
He was charged in the warrant with continuous sexual abuse of a young child and, in addition, charged with sexual assault.
Bail is set at $400,000.
