TURNING BACK THE CLOCK

TURNING BACK THE CLOCK

The Private Bruno Phillip VFW Post 688 turned back the hands of time Saturday, hosting its first-ever “1940s Night at the USO.” The jumping party at the Cana Ballroom featured 1940s-World War II era ballads and swing by the Boerne Jazz band and a performance by “Frank Sings Frank,” performer Frank Cubillo singing and entertaining as Frank Sinatra. Many of the attendees dressed in 1940s-era clothing and hair styles, to enjoy a night of dancing, dining and musical entertainment. A photo booth provided additional entertainment for the 170 guests on hand.
