Here’s pie pi inyour faceface

Boerne Police Chief Steve Perez, above, delivers a whipped cream pie to the face of Boerne Fire Chief Manny Casarez Saturday at Main Plaza during the conclusion of the “Battle of the Badges” fundraiser for LOVE Kendall County Kids. Votes were placed during a weeks-long campaign for either chief; the one amassing the most points, Casarez, got pied, with pies donated by Tootie Pie Co. In the interest of good sportsmanship, Perez took one to the face as well.
