Comfort Little Theater taking stage in Waring

COMFORT — Comfort Little Theater returns to the stage with its 94th production, “Everything’s Bigger in Texas or Come and Fake It!”, performing April 24-25 and May 1-2 at the Waring Fire Hall.

Doors open at 6 p.m., music starts at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night. Seating is first come, first served. Reserved tables are available for groups of eight or more, contact Phil Saur at 830-796-1690.

This all-amateur (very amateur) production features a lively mix of original, sketch-style comedy written and performed by members of the community. This year’s show is packed with small-town humor and a slightly risqué edge — best described as “PG-17.”

Audiences will be entertained with scenes from the Redneck Day Spa, the Real Housewives of Center Point, a stroll through Center Point’s business district, and as always, the legendary Waring Fishermen.

This all-volunteer production, Comfort Little Theater continues its tradition of giving back, with proceeds supporting local charities, community organizations, and student scholarships.

Food and beverages will be available throughout the evening, including set-ups from the Waring Area Community Association, beer by donation, and concessions provided by the Comfort High School Travel Club.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $10 for children. Infants and crying babies are welcome at a premium price of $50.
