LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. MAY 20

12:04 a.m., Calk Lane/San Antonio – Multiple callers reported a power outage. A large tree fell on high power lines.

10:25 a.m., 100 block of Herff Ranch – A caller reported a vehicle parked at the front of her subdivision that appeared to be abandoned.

10:59 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported coming across a small bag with white powder in it.

11:37 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported his vehicle was broken into recently. Nothing was taken but his windows were damaged.

6:01 a.m., 500 block of N. School Street – A caller reported constantly someone ringing her doorbell.

6:12 a.m., 100 block of Katie Court – A caller reported his vehicle was egged.

11:03 a.m., 100 block of Calk Lane – A caller reported several vehicles in the parking lot that shouldn’t be there. The caller said their registration had expired.

2:32 p.m., 100 block of S. Esser Road – A caller reported her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend had an incident in a restroom. The said while the boyfriend was using the restroom, another male attempted to push his way into the bathroom too.

4:07 p.m., 100 block of City Park – A caller reported a naked male by the creek. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was arrested.

7:39 a.m., 100 block of Talavera – A caller reported she could smell gas in the kitchen. Boerne FD was called to the location.

1:13 p.m., 1100 block of River Road – A caller reported an older female attempted to hit people. The woman was taken to the ER, where she continued to be violent.

1:21 p.m., 600 block of S. School Street – A caller reported a male talking to himself in the middle of the road.

10:25 p.m., 700 block of Aqua Shores – A caller reported a group of underage kids drinking at the community center. The teenagers were detained and taken into custody.

MAY 23

8:41 a.m., 200 block of English Oaks – A caller suspected a male in the area was running an after-hour pharmacy.

11:39 a.m., 100 block of Noble Woods – A caller reported he received some threatening messages against him and his family.

1:23 p.m., 100 block of Telford – A caller reported people at the location were constantly smoking marijuana. The caller said it was an ongoing issue.

2:59 p.m., 100 block of Mission Lake – A caller reported two juveniles attempting to retrieve vape pens left at the location the prior evening.

4:11 p.m., 200 block of Windsor – A caller reported their neighbor urinates in her backyard.

7:53 a.m., 100 block of City Lake – An employee reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

12:39 p.m., 500 block of Live Oak – A caller reported a fox on the roof of the house.

4:00 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported his son found a male trespassing and attempting to burglarize their property.

MAY 20

12:24 a.m., 100 block of Arroyo – A caller reported an attic fire after their home was struck by lightning. Bergheim, Sisterdale and Boerne F.D. were called to the location. A second lightning strike resulted in another fire. Both fires were successfully extinguished.

7:04 a.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported his grandmother called and told her there were aggressive dogs in the area preventing her from leaving her home.

11:47 a.m., 100 block of Esperanza – A caller reported a baby deer in the road who was alive but not moving.

3:21 p.m., 300 block of Oak Ridge – A caller reported receiving a scam call and emails about jury duty. The caller said when she told the scammer she was going to verify the number, they hung up on her.

MAY 21

5:06 a.m., 500 block of Blanco Road – A caller reported one of the stores appeared to be burglarized. The caller said the door was broken and destroyed.

7:16 a.m., 100 block ofWinchester – A caller reported a trapped raccoon.

5:33 p.m., 500 block of Sunflower – A caller was concerned about a reckless driver in the area. The caller said the driver hit the curb twice while driving. The caller further noted there was a juvenile in the car.

5:42 p.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported an aggressive dog was on her property.

MAY 22

10:48 a.m., 500 block of Kendall Parkway – A caller reported a fawn was underneath her deck. The caller was concerned it was abandoned.

2:42 p.m., on N. Creek Loop/I-10 Frontage Road – A caller reported an odd male in the area on his phone. The caller told dispatch the male slept at the park the prior night and was continuing to hang out by the park.

4:16 p.m., Jennifer Drive – A caller reported three males were standing at her gate for an extended period of time before leaving.

5:25 p.m., Murfield – A caller reported receiving a scam call about jury duty.The caller added that when he confronted the scammer, he and his family were threatened.

5:26 p.m., 100 block of Siebenicher Road – A caller reported a driver who appeared to be going through someone’s mail.

MAY 23

7:17 a.m., 100 block of Geronimo Trail – A caller reported a dog got onto their property and killed his sheep.

6:00 p.m., 100 block of Ammann Road – A caller was concerned about two dogs in the area who kept running in the road.

7:12 p.m., 40000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported they were concerned about vagrants occupying a structure that was for sale.

MAY 24

12:11 a.m., on Highway 87/North Creek Road – A caller reported a vehicle passed the caller in a no passing zone, going over 100 mph.

3:52 a.m., mile marker 543, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle that almost hit the caller’s car twice, was now in a ditch. Law enforcement located the vehicle and found the driver was slumped over and was not very responsive.

8:55 a.m., 10 Block of S. FM 3351 – A caller reported a driver on the side of the road with his head down.

1:38 p.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller suspected her neighbors were stealing her packages.

2:36 p.m., 400 block of May Lane – A caller reported a raccoon in his ceiling.
