The Boerne Concert Band gave a holiday performance in honor of Memorial Day on Sunday evening, May 29, at Main Plaza. There, the band, under the direction of Larry Schmidt, played several appropriate selections. At one point, Schmidt joined the band with his trumpet and gave the baton to Bill McGuire.
