The Roy Maas Youth Alternatives has a new addition to its Meadowlands location in Boerne, thanks to The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch. The local community service organization contributed a professional golf putting green for the 42-acre campus. The putting green is expected to help bring golf therapy to RMYA children, develop social skills, build self-confidence and learn a life-long talent. The green campaign was initiated by Rotarian Charles Pearson and was the largest service project undertaken by the FOR Rotary Club in its 10-year history. Pictured above are RMYA Chief Development Officer Gail Ribalta, left, and CEO Blair Thompson, right, joining Pearson and FOR Rotary President Greg Maxton in accepting a check reflecting the cost of the new putting green.
