Boerne Champion played at the 5A boys state golf tournament earlier this week and one Charger brought home an individual medal.

The Boerne High boys golf team completed the 2021-22 season this week at the 4A state tournament in Kingsland at the Legends Golf Course.

Boerne High sent four athletes – Ashley Clingman, Tori Adams, Kendall Lemm and Mary Marino – to this week’s 4A state track and field meet held Thursday in Austin on the University of Texas campus.

Champion will be well represented at this year’s 5A state track and field meet scheduled for Friday in Austin on the University of Texas campus.

Geneva School of Boerne’s baseball season came to an end earlier this week when the Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs by Brooke Hill, 11-0.

The Boerne High boys basketball team capped a great season and had a total of nine members earn all-district awards, while a few of the Greyhound players also picked up several additional postseason awards.

The Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association and Ladies Golf Association had a combined Cowgirls Cowboys 3-person scramble on Thursday, April 14, and there were 51 participants.

Water polo is about to get much bigger in the state of Texas and that includes in Boerne.

SAN ANTONIO – That elusive second-round win that has escaped the Champion softball team will have to wait at least another year.

The Boerne softball team mowed down another opponent in the playoffs, this time it was Needville that was swept by the Lady Greyhounds team that is 4-0 in the postseason.

Boerne High opened the baseball playoffs last weekend and defeated Gonzales in two games.
