The Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department conducted its annual Junior Police Academy last week as 40 youngsters went through the program and learned about various law enforcement policies and procedures as well as the basic functions of a working police department. Attendees also had the opportunity to practice what they learned through various exercises during the week. Boerne Noon Rotary Club members spent early Tuesday morning putting up American flags along Main Street and other downtown areas in observance of Flag Day, which was June 14. The activity is one of the things the local Rotary Club does as a service organization.
